Johnny Kitties: Celebrating Johnny Depp Film #43–The Rum Diary (2011)
This episodic adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's first novel, which reflects the writer's real-life early days as a reporter in Puerto Rico struggling to find his voice, was a labor of love for Johnny to make in honor of his friend and mentor.
